Peter Lambert

Managing Director of the Company. Prior to joining Anthony Runacres and Associates Limited in 1986 he held senior positions in underwriting and sales with a major worldwide insurance company. Peter specialises in Risk Management. With 32 years in the industry he is a Senior Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, a Fellow of the Insurance Brokers Association of NZ and a Certified Insurance Professional.

 

Robert Spooner

Director of the Company and Senior Account Executive. Prior to joining Anthony Runacres and Associates Robert was a senior underwriter with a major international insurer. He has 34 years experience in the insurance industry and extensive experience at all levels of underwriting and broking. He is a Senior Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, a Fellow of the Insurance Brokers Association of NZ and a Certified Insurance Professional

 
Anthony Runacres

Founder and Consultant to Anthony Runacres and Associates Limited. He began his career in the insurance industry in 1966 and is a Fellow of the Insurance Brokers Association of NZ. He is known for his technical insurance knowledge and frequently used as an expert consultant on insurance matters. Prior to establishing Anthony Runacres and Associates Limited in 1981 he held senior positions with the world’s largest international insurance brokers.

 

Glen Hannah

has been an Account Executive with the Company since 2002. Glen has 14 years experience in insurance, previously working in senior positions with NZI in Gisborne and Christchurch. Glen is an Associate of the Australia and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, a Member of the Insurance Brokers Association of NZ and a Certified Insurance Professional.

 

 

John Brand

Senior Account Executive. He has been with the Company since 1994 and prior to this John was a senior broker with another Christchurch brokerage. He has also worked for a leading New Zealand insurer in a senior sales position for a number of years. In total, John has  been in the insurance industry for 32 years and is a Fellow of the Insurance Brokers Association of NZ.

 

 

Brian Reedy

Is a Senior Account Executive. He joined the company in late 2008, coming from a senior position with one of the world’s largest insurance brokers. He has also worked for a leading New Zealand insurer in all areas of insurance and specialised in risk management.

Brian has 23 years experience in the insurance industry and is an Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, a member of the Insurance Brokers Association and a Certified Insurance Professional.

 

Stephen MacManus
is an Account Executive who assists senior brokers on major accounts. He has a extensive experience as a relationship manager within the banking & finance industry. Stephen holds a NZ Diploma in Business (N.Z.Dip.Bus) and is a Member of the Insurance Brokers Association of NZ and is currently studying towards a Diploma of Financial Services – Insurance Broking with the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.

 

Mark Cosgrove

is Managing Director of Cosgrove Survival Specialists Limited, a company which specializes in personal life, medical and disability insurance. Cosgrove Survival Specialists Limited have partnered with Anthony Runacres and Associates Limited to supply advice and services in theses areas of insurance which are highly focused on the personal insurance needs of clients. This also includes share purchase, debt and key person cover, as well as mortgage finance brokerage.

 

 

Donna Yee

Donna Yee has been in the insurance industry for 16 years and 14 of those with Anthony Runacres and Associates Limited.

Donna assists senior account executives with a comprehensive knowledge of insurance administration and claims.

Donna is a Member of the Insurance Brokers Association of NZ.

Karl Samson
Karl Samson is an assistant to one of our senior account executives. His insurance experience comes from both broker and underwriter levels, having worked in underwriting with one of New Zealand's largest insurance companies.
He has a Diploma in Financial Services (Insurance Broking) and is a Senior Associate of the Australia and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance. Karl also holds a degree in Commerce and Management majoring in Finance.
 

All brokers, including the Company’s Directors, follow a formal continuing education programme as provided by the Insurance Brokers Association of NZ. In addition, staff are encouraged to follow academic courses, both those that will assist their careers and for general interest.

 

The brokers are supported by a team of experienced secretarial, administrative and accounts support staff

 

Allan Silcock

General Manager  Administration. Responsible for all administration and office support.  Allan has over twenty-five years of management, administration, Human Resource, marketing and brand management experience at national and international level.

 

Victoria Wisternoff  B.A., B.Com.

Company Accountant. Victoria first joined the insurance industry in Wellington in 1977. She joined the Company in 1986 and has been instrumental in developing many of the accounts and administration systems currently in use. Importantly, Victoria controls all financial and accounting functions of the Company.

Wendy Blackwell

Claims Officer and Librarian. Wendy has many years of experience in office administration and heads our claims department. Wendy is the main link with insurers to ensure the quick and efficient settlement of all claims. As Librarian she plays an essential role in the efficient storage and retrieval of information and records.

Adair Rowland

Reception/Secretarial. Often the first person you will speak to when contacting us. Adair has a background in administration and customer service. She plays a key role in office support and front line contact with our clients. Adair also assists with claims management and related service matters.

Brian Gilmour

Heads up our West Coast Division, West Coast Insurance Consultants, Greymouth.

He has an extensive banking industry background where he managed a portfolio of high value clients and dealing with complex transactions. His financial analysis skills make him particularly effective in assisting commercial clients with insurance assessment and risk analysis. Brian is a Senior Associate, Financial Institute of Australasia (SA fin), holds a NZ Diploma in Business (N.Z.Dip.Bus) and a Diploma in Management (Dip.Mgt.) He has a specific interest in aviation and holds a

                                                   Commercial Pilot Licence.

 

Sheryle Aynsley

Broker support and administration at West Coast Insurance Consultants, Greymouth. Twenty years of experience in insurance has given Sheryle a substantial knowledge of the industry and an understanding of the insurance requirements of West Coast clients.
